Event-Driven Rubygame

I've used Game Maker and it has an event-driven paradigm. This means it does something when it is called. How can I get the same effect with Ruby/Rubygame rather than it just run once and kill the program?

You can use Events in RubyGame so you can build your application fully event driven if you want. Just build your event handlers accordingly.
